With the recent COVID-19 pandemic we have taken extra steps to ensure the quality of forever flowers, and we want to share with you those measures. Every flower is now coated with a mildew and mold resistant dye mixture. (Any flower we created prior to May 2019 does not have this coating.) While our normal suggested method of cleaning (found here) is still our first recommendation for caring for your flowers. However, we also understand there are times when you may need a deeper clean. We have tried several different methods of sanitizing our flowers to demonstrate how they hold up to deeper cleaning. Below you will find our steps and photos for sanitizing your forever flowers. We used Clorox wipes, Lysol liquid spray, and Lysol aerosol spray in our demonstrations.
Before sanitation
Clorox Wipes
Gently wipe the petals with the wipe,
being careful not to rip the petals off and not to over saturate the flower.
Allow the flower to dry
(we suggest a sunny window for 15-20 minutes)
Lysol liquid all purpose spray
Spray the Lysol onto a lint free cloth or paper towel,
and then Gently wipe the petals with the wipe,
being careful not to rip the petals off and not to over saturate the flower.
Allow the flower to dry
(we suggest a sunny window for 15-20 minutes)
Lysol aerosol spray
Spray the Lysol onto a lint free cloth or paper towel,
and gently wipe the petals with the wipe,
being careful not to rip the petals off and not to over saturate the flower.
Allow the flower to dry
(we suggest a sunny window for 15-20 minutes)
